Domaine des Tourelles White is a blend of Viognier, Chardonnay, Obeidi, and Muscat d’Alexandrie grapes grown in the Western Bekaa region of Lebanon at an altitude of 1,050m above sea level. The vines are 15-20 years old and have a density of 3,500 vines per hectare. The soil is gravelly and limestone, and the grapes are dry farmed and harvested 100% by hand in boxes, with intensive selection in the vineyards.
The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks for 10 days and does not undergo malolactic fermentation. After blending, the wine is gently clarified. It has an alcoholic strength of 13% vol.
On the nose, Domaine des Tourelles White wine offers exotic fruit and floral aromas, which are followed by a juicy and mouth-watering palate with a refreshing finish. This wine pairs well with a variety of Mediterranean nibbles, such as Lebanese Mezze and Spanish tapas.
