Description
The Marquis des Beys Red is a premium wine made from carefully selected parcels of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Western Bekaa region of Lebanon.
The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 1,050 m above sea level, and the vines are 20 to 25 years old, with a density of 3,500 vines per hectare. The wine has a dark purple color and a complex aroma of cedar, along with notes of black fruits, spices, and a hint of vanilla.
This wine is powerful on the palate, with well-structured tannins and a long finish. It is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, with a blend of new, first-use, and second-use barrels. This aging process helps to enhance the wine’s complexity and flavor, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy rich, full-bodied wines.
The Marquis des Beys Red can be cellared for 5 to 8 years or even more, which allows it to develop further complexity and depth.
