Description
Tasting Notes
Carob, burnt sugar, and ripe plum on the nose. The palate is warm and generous, with a soft structure and a long, textured finish.
Serving
Mavro has the body and roundness to complement a wide range of flavours; it can lift something fresh like ceviche, add weight to roasted root vegetables or baked cauliflower, or echo the earthiness of fava.
In cocktails, it even works as a stand-in for sweet vermouth, giving stirred drinks extra texture without overwhelming them.
Serve slightly chilled (~10°C).
