Description
The Pinnacle of Akkar Craftsmanship
Hailing from the historic village of Rahbe in the Akkar region, this Quadruple Distilled Arak Rahbe Baladi is a tribute to the ancestral “Baladi” (village-style) distillation, elevated to a professional standard of purity. This is a handmade, small-batch creation that represents the absolute peak of Northern Lebanese spirit production.
Unrivaled Purity & Ingredients
The character of this Arak is defined by its raw, local ingredients and its rigorous refinement:
Quadruple Distilled: While most premium araks stop at three, this version is distilled four times in traditional copper stills. This extra step further strips away impurities, creating a 70% ABV spirit that is incredibly clean, silky, and entirely methanol-free.
Indigenous Grapes: Sourced from native vineyards, these grapes provide a robust, earthy foundation that maintains its character even through multiple distillations.
Fresh Hina Aniseeds: Only the most aromatic Hina aniseeds are selected, yielding a deep, spicy sweetness and a rich essential oil content.
The Traditional Serving
At a formidable 70% concentration, this arak creates a thick, luxurious white louche (milky effect) when diluted. To unlock its full aromatic potential and smooth finish, mix 1 part arak with 3 parts water. Always ensure the water is added before the ice to keep the anise oils perfectly integrated. It is the ultimate companion for a high-end Lebanese Mezze, offering a crisp, refreshing palate cleanser between rich dishes.
